Automotive Service Technician

The Winnipeg Hyundai Service Department is currently looking to fill the full time position of a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician. This is a full-time position with a flat rate wage with an efficiency bonus available.

Duties include:

• Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, tire rotation, battery installations, headlight and taillight installations, transmission work/flushes, air conditioner recharges, and front-end alignments.
• Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make effective and accurate recommendations.
• Conducting necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them back to customers.
• Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices

This flat rate wage position is from $32.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience plus an efficiency bonus of up to $2.50 per hour.

Experience:

• Journeyman (preferred)
• Automotive Technician 4 Years (preferred)
• Hyundai Experience (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Class 5 Drivers License (required)
• Red Seal Certification (required)
• Safety Certification (asset)
• A/C Ticket (asset)
